The LG WM3987HW Washer and Dryer Combo is a great washer/dryer combo for apartments and houses with limited space and connections. The washer part (on average) uses 12-14 gallons of water less than the average washing machine and the dryer uses less electricity than most normal dryers. This washer/dryer combo is great for a family of 4 and it does not require an external venting source.

Pros:

- Compact size, great for small family or apartment dwellers
- Price. Comparable units with lesser features cost anywhere from $150-$300 more
- Size of loads. On par with most of the full sized washing machines out there.
- Energy efficient (when compared to normal washer/dryers)

Cons:

- Clothes take upwards of 5-10 minutes to wash/dry longer than conventional washing machines/dryers
- Cost is around $100 higher than standard sized washing machines, but can be offset by efficiency
