Fisher Price, one of the world’s leading toymakers has recalled over 10 million of their toys. The dangers range from falling off playsets onto protruding object to choking on small parts that could be hazardous to your child’s health. The toys and products that are affected are:

- Fisher Price High Chair Recall: 950,000 Healthy Care, Easy Clean and Close to Me High Chairs.
- 7 Million Fisher Price Trike Recall.
- 100,000 Fisher Price Little People Wheelies Stand ‘n Play Rampway Recall.
- Fisher Price Inflatable Ball Products Recall
- 2.8 million Baby Playzone Crawl & Slide Arcade, Baby Playzone Crawl & Cruise Playground, Baby Gymnastics Play Wall (C3068 and H8094), 1-2-3 Tetherball, Bat & Score Goal, Ocean Wonders Kick & Crawl Aquarium.

For the Playzone and Playground, Fisher Price representatives are aware of 46 cases where a small piece has come off the product and out of those, 14 instances when a small piece was found in a child’s mouth.

Some of the defective products that were sold date back to the year 2001. Consumers should be outraged at how long it took for the product recall to finally be initiated. 7 months is too long, let alone 7 years to recall potentially dangerous toys and products that could harm or hurt a child.

Keep in mind that you should not let your children use those toys until they are fixed, and that some of the toys may not qualify for a full refund, even though they are defective. Also, if you send your child to daycare, take an extra few seconds to note the items both inside the classroom and outside. There is a small chance that one or more of the items at your child’s daycare center may be on the recall list for defective toys from Fisher Price.
